BPI for HERS Raters

As a HERS Rater you already know the fundamentals of building science, pressure diagnostics and energy auditing. Everblue’s BPI for HERS Raters course is specially designed to give you only the training and testing you need to get your BPI Building Analyst certification! 

BPI individual certifications and contractor accreditation can qualify you or your company to work under Home Star and other federal, state, local and utility funded energy efficiency programs. 

During the first two days of the course, HERS Raters will participate in classroom and hands-on training covering all of the elements of combustion safety testing along with BPI’s national standards for Building Analyst Professionals. Students will also be required to submit a copy of their HERS Rater certificate and a completed BPI Application for Certification to Everblue prior to attending the class. These documents will enable the student to take the 50-question Building Analyst written exam. Then all you need to do is complete your 50 question, 2 hour written exam and a 2 hour one-on-one field exam on day(s) 3-5.
