I just got promoted into a sustainability manager position with a large company. This is a new position for our company. One task I have is to determine our carbon footprint as the basis for future reporting and possible reducing our footprint. Will I learn how to do that in this course? Congratulations on your promotion! Many companies are adding sustainability managers and executives so you are joining the ranks for a fast growing field.
To answer your question, this course does teach you how to calculate your organization's carbon footprint and we will teach you about the Global Reporting Initiative's reporting framework which is the benchmark for most corporate carbon reporting.
