ENERGY STAR Version 3 Training

Are You a HERS Rater? Get ENERGY STAR v3 Training Now!

Any homes permitted after January 1, 2012, that are seeking the ENERGY STAR Version 3 rating must be in full compliance with the ENERGY STAR Version 3 standards. All HERS Raters are required to complete training and testing to service and/or inspect homes that are seeking an ENERGY STAR Version 3 rating.

Course Description: Everblue offers a training and testing package for individuals seeking the ENERGY STAR Version 3 Certification. Upon completion of the training, students will be eligible to take the 50-question ENERGY STAR Version 3 exam online, in their Everblue account.

Format: This 2-day course (18 hours) is available in live classroom settings and via on-demand webinar.

Audience: Everblue’s ENERGY STAR Version 3 training and testing course is designed for HERS Raters and Field Inspectors.

Course Materials: You will have access to all of the ENERGY STAR Version 3 Guidebooks, including: Building Science Introduction, Thermal Enclosure Rater Checklist, and Water Management Builder Checklist. An ENERGY STAR Version 3 certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of the ENERGY STAR training and testing. You will have access to all related resources in your Everblue.edu online account.
