- Working knowledge of Excel and ability and to work with and understand numbers including cost/benefit analysis and matching savings to loan payment. Finance background a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency software (TREAT, REM-RATE) a plus
- BPI (Building Performance Institute) Certification - Building Analyst and Building Envelope required. Additional certification a plus. Strong construction and building science background considered in lieu of certification.
- Ability to delegate and manage assistant technician
- Strong desire to help homeowners make their homes more energy efficient by recommending the most cost effective, quality measures. A passion for the field is a pre-requisite! May train the right person.

Responsibilities and Tasks: Certification by RESNET, BPI, or EnergyStar. Ideal candidate will have their own duct pressure and blower door test equipment with up to date calibrations. Dependable transportation is a must.
