Research and Communications Intern

Everblue seeks a Research and Communications Intern for the summer. Everblue is the nation's leading educational institution for vocational green jobs training. Our sustainability training courses enable construction-industry professionals to further their careers by achieving nationally-recognized industry certifications (LEED, BPI, Solar), thereby acquiring new skill sets relevant to the "green" industry.

This position requires superior writing skills, awareness of search engine optimization / strategic keyword writing, and an interest in education and environmental sustainability. This role is a combination of writing technical articles for reputable blog sites and trade publications, contributing to technical discussions via forums and social media platforms, and marketing Everblue's training events across multiple event-posting websites.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
  • Participation in a degree program pertaining to communications, information technology, or environmental sustainability
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari
  • Ideal candidate would have superior knowledge of mobile apps (creating, designing, maintaining)
