LEED ND

  • Submitted by Bana@Everblue on Mon, 06/13/2011 - 13:56.
Hello and thank you for your question.

Currently we do not have plans to offer LEED ND training as the demand for it has not been high enough. What we do recommend is the LEED AP: Building Design and Construction as it is the most widely used LEED AP in the industry and can be applicable in most facets in the industry as well.

    Thank you,
    Bana

Educational Benefits

Education is an example of a positive externality: acquiring more education benefits the individual student and having a more highly educated work force is good for the economy as a whole.

The accompanying table illustrates the marginal benefit to Sian per year of education and the marginal cost per year of education. Each year of education has a marginal external benefit to society equal to $8,000. Assume that the marginal social cost is the same as the marginal cost paid by an individual student.

In this case the Subsidy would use simply because it will increase the marginal benefit to equal the social benefit and presenting a subsidy of $8,000 /yr for education.

Hello Don and thank you for your question.

You will want to begin with the LEED Green Associate, this is the first required exam for the LEED process. The LEED Green Associate is the foundation to understanding the LEED credentialling process. Then, should a professional wish to have more expertise on LEED, they can choose to take the LEED AP exam. There are several LEED AP exams to choose from, honing in on areas of speciality like Building Design and Contstruction or Operations and Maintenance. To get an overview of the LEED process, see our LEED step-by-step guide.
