LEED AP ID+C
Hello, I'm a LEED GA. If I want to get training for LEED AP ID+C, ND, or Homes, am I SOL? It appears you don't have training courses for these. Thanks, - Art
LEED AP ID+C
Hello Art and thank you for your question.
Due to the significantly lower demand for these AP specialities, Everblue currently offers LEED AP EBOM and LEED AP BDC. However, LEED AP IDC covers almost idential material ad LEED AP BDC, so we have had many students take our LEED AP BDC course to complete the LEED AP IDC exam. In this senario we also highly recommend you take the LEED AP BDC exam as this is the most widely known and used LEED AP specialty.
Thank you,
Bana
LEED AP Ceritifed
Your ad you posted through Google adwords keeps saying "become LEED Certified". Your website looks like it is correct. However, your Google ads definitely need to be modified as they are incorrect. I hope that helps.
LEED AP Ceritifed
Hello,
Here at Everblue, we take great pride in our LEED training programs. One of the most important aspects we teach is the importance of the LEED brand which includes the usage of proper LEED terminology. The best example is the tendency for people to say LEEDs Certification - note, there should not be an "s" at the end of LEED.
With that being said, we specialize in reaching out to the building industry and teaching them about LEED so at times we have to reach out to prospective students who may unknowingly be using the wrong terminology.
We appreciate the feedback!

LEED AP
Do we need to be LEED GA accredited to be able to do the LEED AP exam?
LEED AP
Yes, you need to earn your LEED Green Associate accreditation before you earn your LEEP AP with specialty. You also need to gain experience on a LEED registered project to sit for the LEED AP with specialty exam.
Thank you,
Everblue
LEED AP
I have read that If we have experience on a LEED registered project, we can take both exams together?
The exam will be two parts and the first part assesses general knowledge of the LEED rating systems, the LEED certification process, and the approaches that can be used in sustainable design. The specifications of this part of the exam are identical to those of the LEED Green Associate exam. Is that true?
Thank you!
LEED AP
You are correct that you are eligible to take both the LEED Green Associate and LEED AP with Specialty exams together with LEED experience. Everblue does not recommend this, however. These exams cover a great deal of information, and if you take the exams together, pass one exam but don't pass the other, you do not get credit for EITHER exam.
Based on student feedback, Everblue recommends that you prepare for the LEED Green Associate exam first, and then prepare for the LEED AP exam once you have earned your Green Associate.
Regarding what the exam covers, you are correct that the LEED GA addresses the general knowledge of LEED. The LEED AP exam covers more specific details of the LEED program based on the specialty you are looking at.
Thanks,
Everblue
LEED GA Certification In Singapore
Hi,
I would like to check on how to get LEED GA certified in Singapore? Where would I attend the class?
LEED GA Certification In Singapore
Hello,
Everblue offers LEED Green Associate exam prep live webinars. Though we don't hold live classes in Singapore, you could still take our class as a live webinar and recieve a certificate to sit for the LEED GA exam.
After completing the Everblue webinar, you would then take the exam at a Prometric testing center. There are testing centers in Singapore, and you can visit www.prometric.com to find the exact address of the testing center near you.
Thank you!
LEED AP BD&C Pratice Questions
I recently passed my LEED AP BD&C exam after completing my on demand webinar and practice questions. I was able to pass the test my first attempt with a score of 90%!”
Leed GA
Hi I am a contractor in RI. To be honest I am more interested in building and remodeling green than I am the title. If I enroll how do I get from GA to AP. I want to put myself in a green building only category. I believe it is a good cause and it is the future.
Thanks Jason
LEED GA to LEED AP
Jason,
Once you earn the LEED Green Associate credential and you have LEED project experience, you can then pursue LEED AP. For most people, the Green Associate teaches you all of the principles of green building and sustainability so unless you're actually working on a LEED project, you might not need the LEED AP credential.
Also, remember that the purpose of the credential is to incentive people to learn about green building so even if you do not plan to take the test, the training for the exam is invaluable for green building contractors.

LEED GA TO AP
To Everblue
Following reply on LEED GA to AP, may I please ask what is the duration of LEED project experience that will be accounted for in case I want to persue the LEED AP which is apparently the eligibility to take the LEED AP exam. PS: I was involevd in an LEED project in 2007 July which completed in October & was awarded LEED Gold in March 2009

LEED GA to LEED AP
Hello,
The LEED project experience requirement is a very low hurdle which means that you only have to be slightly involved with a LEED registered project to qualify. The project does have to be in the past three years though so your time may be running out for the 2007 project.

Chicago LEED Training Courses
I understand that in order to just SIT for any of the LEED AP exam, you have to have worked on a LEED Certified Project. Be that is not the case for me, is it worth me even taking the Green Associate exam? Separately, I noticed no courses are offered in Chicago for the LEED BC course, which is what I'm most interested in. Rich
Chicago LEED Green Associate
Rich,
The LEED Green Associate Exam does not require LEED project experience however, the LEED AP Exam does. As part of our LEED Green Associate course we provide you with a certificate of exam eligibility which qualifies you to take the LEED GA Exam.
The LEED Green Associate is really what most people are looking for in terms of a LEED Credential. You'll be able to put LEED GA on your signature block, business card, resume, etc. You'll understand the LEED rating systems, the LEED credit categories, and you'll be able to converse intelligently with customers about LEED. Unless you will be actively working on LEED projects, most people do not require the LEED AP level of accreditation.
In the Chicago area, we offer LEED Green Associate courses about month with our partner school, Northern Illinois University. You can find our complete listing of courses on Chicago LEED Training Courses page.
