I already get the LEED Green Associate credential, and now want to take the LEED AP BD&C exam. If I take this LEED Project Experience Program, can I get any certificate or documents to prove that I am qualified for the LEED AP BD&C exam?

Tell me more about this. Does that mean that upon successful completion of the LEED AP exam, I become a LEED AP? In a specialty? Which one? Or do I still have to be a significant contributor on two LEED projects before earning the LEED AP certification?

Thank you for your question. When you take the LEED AP exam you are choosing a LEED AP specialty for your exam. So, you would take a LEED AP: Building Design and Construction exam, a LEED AP: Operations and Maintenance exam, etc. However, it is important to know you must take the LEED Green Associate exam before the AP exam. This is required by the USGBC and will also give you a good idea of what AP exam you would want to take. To learn more, see our LEED Green Associate page.

I have answered each of your questions below.
1). You say I will assume one of the LEED project team member roles in LEED Online. How many credits will I register in total? You will review 20+ credits as part of the course but the number of credits you personally get involved with will depend on your homework assignment. Ultimately, our goal is to make you comfortable with all of the frequently pursued credits.
2). Will this give me an overview of the project or I will only focus on the credits related to my role in LEED online? You will definitely get an overview of the project.
3). You say that additionally, you offer LEED AP Exam prep courses and self-study material that compliment this course. Do this come at an additional cost or are included in the LEED Project Experience program? The LEED AP Exam prep courses are separate. This is not an exam focus program but rather one meant to provide you practical LEED project experience.
4). If I wish to go for the LEED AP Homes, is this Project Experience program still beneficial for me being related to a BD+C project? This is a BD&C project program but the experience is relevant for all of the LEED AP specialties.
5). Is it a real LEED BD+C registered project or a virtual one? This program is based on real, registered projects.
6). How many participants will we be maximum? This depends on the project and the session. We try to have no more than 30 participants in each program.
7). Will we be able to actually speak with our instructor and ask questions or only chat with him/her? Yes, during the live interactive sessions and then through email and chat between the sessions.
8). What is this 5 hours of project exercises? Is this the amount of time we need to devote after each 2-hour webinar, or this will be group online practice work? This is essentially your homework between live sessions. Thank you,

You do not need to be a licensed architect to become LEED accredited, but many architects choose to become LEED accredited because this certification not only counts towards their continuing education under AIA, it improves their resume and can attract business. Should you decide to become LEED accredited, you will want to begin with the LEED Green Associate.

Missing a live class
Hi, im interested in enrolling for the upcoming July 27th webinars, however, I will be unable to attend one of the live classes. Will I be able to make up for that class or will this be something irreversible being that is such a short and intesnse course. Im only able to take the classes on the July-August slot so it will be great if this can be explained further. Thanks

Thank you for your question. All live webinar sessions are recorded, so should you miss a live session, you can view its recordings. However, we do recommend attending as many live sessions as possible so you have the opportunity to ask your instructor questions and partake in class discussions.

LEED AP- EBOM
I took and passed LEED Green Associate exam with a score of 187. I have also taken LEED AP EB O&M course with a project experience. I think a need a certification of completion from Everblue for LEED AP. I want to sign up for LEED AP EBOM exam. What procedure I need to follow up.

We will send a certificate of completion your way for the LEED AP EBOM course you took with us. To sign up for the LEED AP exam, you will need to provide the USGBC with a letter attestmant that you have worked on a LEED registered project. You can get this letter from a supervisor or if you take Everblue's LEED project experience online course you will recieve one from us.

Leed AP Exam Requirements
On the USGBC website it states:"The LEED Green Associate eligibility requirement can be satisfied by taking USGBC’s LEED 201 workshop,..." Does that mean I don't have to take the LEED GA exam to be able to take the LEED AP exam?

This statement states that the LEED 201 Workshop will fulfill the requirement to take the LEED Green Associate exam, not the LEED AP exam. There is no substitution for taking the LEED Green Associate exam- this is always a requirement before taking the LEED AP exam because it covers very important fundamental concepts needed to understand the LEED AP content.
