Are there pre-requisites for this course?
There are no pre-requisites for this LEED course, although we recommend that students have either completed Everblue’s LEED Green Associate training or passed the LEED Green Associate exam.

How are the classes taught?
The courses are taught via live webinar conferencing software, chat rooms, teleconference, and email. The course is a mix of instructor-led training and hands-on practical exercises. The internship assignments are self-paced project calculation exercises. This course is also available in a live format and taught in a LEED Gold certified facility. Visit the registration page for details.

What if I have questions during the program between the live sessions?
Your instructor is available between sessions to answer your questions.

Will I work on an actual LEED project?
Yes, you will work on a LEED registered Building Design & Construction project and assume one of the LEED project team member roles in LEED Online.

Is the program recognized by the GBCI?
GBCI does not formally endorse any program nor do they guarantee any LEED exam eligibility application. However, this program provides very intensive LEED project experience that more than exceeds the GBCI exam eligibility requirements.

Does this program include LEED Exam Prep for the LEED AP Exam?
While this is not a LEED exam prep course, the course is very beneficial for helping students gain the background knowledge and confidence that is necessary to be successful on the LEED AP exams. Additionally, we offer LEED AP exam prep courses and self-study material that compliment this course.

What if I miss a live session?
We strongly encourage attendance in all live sessions, however, we understand that busy professionals will have conflicts. If you miss a session, all sessions are recorded and we will work with you to make up the missed material.

Do I need to purchase a reference guide?
No, you do not need to purchase a reference guide.

Does this program qualify me for the LEED Green Associate exam?
Yes, however, we strongly recommend the LEED Green Associate training, course which is geared toward the specifics of the LEED Green Associate exam and establishes eligibility for the Green Associate exam.

LEED AP Exam Eligible with this Course?

    You mentioned that this course would qualify someone to sit for the LEED Green Associate Exam, but I already had this training. Does this course in June provide the experience of working with a LEED project to sit for the LEED AP Exam?

    We do our best to offer this course at different times to accomodate our students. If you check the LEED Project Experience schedule you may find another time frame that works, even with the time difference as we take that into consideration when scheduling our online classes.

    Your site says "you will work on a LEED registered Building Design & Construction project". Will working on a BD&C project give me the prerequisite experience to take the LEED EBOM AP exam? If not, do you offer any EBOM project experience courses?

    The times for our webinar posted on the site are Eastern Standard Time. This is a 12 hour time difference. Our schedule live online sessions include class discussion, while you will be assigned coursework and self study in between these interactive sessions.

    I earned the Green Green Associate Certification, and looking for full fill the rest of requirements to take the LEED AP, please clarify on the following quoted question / Answer. "Is the program recognized by the GBCI? GBCI does not formally endorse any program nor do they guarantee any LEED exam eligibility application.     All Everblue students who have taken this course has been eligible for the LEED AP exam through the GBCI. While the GBCI cannot formally endorse this course, they do recognize it as adequate LEED project experience when an individual submits it in thier LEED AP exam application.

    Thank you for your question, Tony.

    Once you complete all your LEED credentials, you will recieve one certification of completion for all 15 to 30 hours (depending on whether you are a LEED GA or LEED AP). The GBCI recognizes this as a completion of your LEED credential maintenance.
