
As a natural progression to follow Everblue's Solar PV Bootcamp, this 30 hour hands-on Solar PV Design and Installation course will take your solar knowledge to the next level. This course covers Solar safety, Solar Site Assessments, Solar System Design, Installing Sibsystems and Components at the site, Performing a System Checkout and Inspection, and Maintenance/Troubleshooting of Existing Solar Systems. Upon successful completion of this course, completion and documentation of two permitted PV system installs, and additional home study, students may be eligible to take the NABCEP Certified PV Installer Exam.
If you want to become a Solar Photovoltaics (PV) Contractor, this Series will give you all of the solar training and hands-on know how to complete solar installations, start to finish. Everblue’s Solar Contractor Series includes all of the classroom and hands-on installation training that is included in our Solar PV Bootcamp as well as our Solar PV Design and Installation class, and it is all rolled up into 6 classroom/lab days and 32 hours of online anytime training.
Everblue's HERS Rater training will provide individuals with the knowledge necessary to provide homeowners and home builders a detailed analysis of energy consumption and options to save money by conserving energy. This course will teach you how to help builders and architects improve home energy efficiency and provides instruction for energy efficiency analysis using the house-as-a-system approach. Anyone can become a RESNET Certified HERS Rater; there are no prerequisites.
This comprehensive course focuses on training individuals to become residential energy auditors with certifications from the Building Performance Institute (BPI) and the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET). Students will learn how to operate a blower door, perform combustion safety testing, and conduct energy modeling. Not sure whether you want to pursue BPI Certification or RESNET HERS Rater Certification? With this course, you train and test for both!
In Everblue’s LEED Project Experience course, students will learn how to manage the LEED project process including credit documentation requirements, calculations, as well as other resources and software tools. Students will also learn how to register a LEED project and submit LEED credits. This course was designed to actively engage students through experiential learning on a LEED-registered project.
LEED Green Associate Exam Prep - Live Classroom. Everblue's LEED Green Associate exam prep includes a complete review of the LEED rating systems, 500 simulated exam questions, 6 memorization worksheets, a study manual, and a certificate of exam eligibility.
Participants will learn the “house-as-a-system” concept, fundamentals of building science, systems within a home, and common building envelope problems and solutions.
This course is intended for certified BPI Envelope Professionals who are looking to maintain their credential through recertification. This process includes field training, written testing, and field testing.
The BPI Envelope certification in conjunction with the Building Analyst certification will make your company eligible to apply for Accreditation (if your company is in an industry field i.e. insulation, weatherization, window installation company etc.). Accreditation can be useful for acquiring various incentives throughout each state. Field test slots are assigned by order of registration, so sign up sooner to avoid an extra day of travel. To be safe, please include one extra day in your travel plans to accommodate for overflow of one-on-one field testing on day 6 (day 4 for Envelope). Please bring a non-graphing calculator and a wireless Internet-ready laptop PC with Windows operating system and Internet Explorer for your written exam.
