WE Training
I'm a civil engineer with experience in the transportation area. Luckily for my passion for the environment and new trends, my company has started to move into Green Energy, especifically Wind Energy. I would like to know what the course you offer would impact my professional background in this area. This is a formal class with some type of certification? I would also like to know when there would be available classes near my area: Washington,DC and/or Baltimore, MD. I will appreciate your answer. Thank you.
I think this has already been answered for me; however...
Knowing nothing AT ALL about any of this stuff, can a person get the job easily if the company says "complete training"?
I think this has already been answered for me; however...
Hello Misty,
Everblue plans to offer a certification in conjunction with our wind training, so when a student applies for a job they can have a credible certification on thier resume. This should make them a more appealing candidate for employers.
Thanks,
Bana
NABCEP Wind Certification
Is this a NABCEP certification for the wind training?
NABCEP Wind Certification
Thank you for your question.
NABCEP’s Wind Certification is not widely accepted at this point in time and is one of the most restrictive certifications in the clean energy industry so at this point in time our program does not support NABCEP’s Wind Certification.
Thank you,
Bana

I want to learn all about wind energy and make a life change that will lead me in a field I have never worked in. Will learning to install a wind system require me to obtain a contractors license?
Contractor's License
Hello and thank you for your question,
You will not need any licenses to do wind energy as we will cover everything you need to know in the course. However, it can be to your advantage to be familiar with the industry so you are more comfortable with terms and concepts that will be introduced in class. It may also help you build contacts and potential customers.

I found this site really interesting, especially all the well answered comments. Congratulations.
Fear of heights
I would be interested in learning more about wind energy, but I have a major fear of heights. Will this be a hindrance?
Fear of heights
Hello and thank you for your question. Our Wind energy training will teach you that the majority of the work for designing and selling these systems occurs on the ground. I would say you are going to be just fine!
Thank you,
