Does this course include Blower Door and Duct Blaster Certification? Is any energy rating software or Manual J,D software included or used in class? Is a laptop required or recommended?

RESNET HERS Rater training does include everything that you have mentioned. A laptop is also recommended.

Thank you, the current course does include Energy Star 3 principles, but not in great detail. You might want to consider a separate course for additional training.

Yes, our RESNET course complies with Massachusette's requirements. Students will need to complete the entire RESNET process to become certified raters.

Unfortunately, no. California has HERS 1 and HERS 2, but RESNET is not the standard bearer for either. They are not related to the training Everblue provides, and we are not able to provide HERS 1 or HERS 2 in CA yet.

What type of payment plans are available for potential students?
Payment plans?
Everblue does provide payment plans for our RESENT HERS Rater course. You can reserve your seat in the class for $400 and call in to complete your payments. The only requirement is that your class is paid in full by the first day of your course.

California acreditation
If I take a HERS rater class in Las Vegas will I be able to get acreditied in Ca?

Hello,
The RESNET HERS Rater program taught by Everblue would apply in any state except California. They have their own HERS programs known as HERS1 and HERS2 which Everblue does not teach at this point. We do, however, plan to teach this course in the future. Please continue to check back with us.

Three Probationary Ratings Required by RESNET
Are the provisional ratings stated above equivalent to the RESNET probationary ratings? If so, how does a student get the third rating required by RESNET?

Hello,
There are two training ratings and 3 probationary ratings. Students get the two training ratings in their Everblue RESNET HERS Rater class. The 3 probationary ratings must be done in conjunction with their local RATER provider. So to clarify, Everblue is the EDUCATION provider which it is a different classification with RESNET.

For the time being Las Vegas will be the closest RESNET HERS Rater training yo Los Angeles. California has a a slightly different set of HERS Rater standards and the latest California standards have not been officially set as of yet.
