Prerequisites: Everblue offers two solar career tracks. Choose to become a Solar Sales Professional or a Solar PV Installer. Either way, you will begin your journey into the renewable energy industry with Everblue's Solar PV Associate course. Depending on which career track you follow, you will then enroll in Everblue's Solar Sales Professional course or Solar PV Installer course. These hands-on courses will prepare you for success. If you're ready to take the renewable energy industry by storm - that is, becoming the ultimate solar professional - you will enroll in Everblue's Solar Contractor Series, which incorporates training from all three solar training courses.

Course Description: Installing solar PV systems requires you to learn the basics of electricity, safety, system components, their function, and how to evaluate the solar resource. You need to understand how to design and actually install the system - the nuts and bolts of attaching the solar modules to the roof, wiring, installing electrical components, and evaluating the performance of the finished product.

Audience: This course is ideal for contractors, foremen, supervisors, journeymen, electricians, students and anyone interested in understanding renewable energy or looking for a new career path.

Course Materials: Everblue Training Manuals for Solar PV Associate, Solar Sales Professional, and Solar PV Installer, Take Home Solar Kit, Certificate of Completion

What Everblue's Students Say

"I was hesitant at first to sign up for such an in-depth solar course. I wasn't sure what direction I was going in, I just knew that solar was in high demand where I live and I wanted to install solar panels since I have a roofing and general contracting background. Everblue trained me to safely and effectively install solar panels. Everblue also opened my eyes to the "business" side of solar and how to design, market and sell quality Solar PV systems. Love the course - thanks Everblue!"

Is there any form of finacial aid? grants, scholarships, student loans available? If so How would I contact someone to apply. It seems this being a field in high demand and need for alternative energy, government programs would be in place to start training people in these fields.

    Hello Byron,

The Contractor series is made up of the Solar PV Associate course and Solar Installer course. The Solar PV Associate can be taken online, but the Solar Installer cannot because it requires hands-on training. Therefore, should you like to do a portion of this series online, you may.
