Which of your on-site solar courses or Webinar solar courses qualifies for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for Texas PEs. These units would be a very good additional incentive for taking your solar courses. Do you need help with this?

Continuing Education Units

  • Submitted by Bana@Everblue on Tue, 06/07/2011 - 10:24.
    Hello Jose,

You will need to check with your Texas PE board. Typically you can contact them and provide them with information on our training. They in turn will be able to let you know if these hours would be approved by them and guide you on how to submit them. Sometimes they need infromation directly from us, so feel free to contact us if you need assitance.

    Thank you, Bana

I just want to be sure I understand. I can start the training tomorrow or next week if I want. I don't NEED the webinars but they are helpful. How does this work? Do we receive a syllibus online as well as the 34 hours of instruction? Are there books we need to purchase?
    Thanks, Julie

Your attendance at the live sessions is recommended but not required. You could complete the entire course without attending any of the live sessions.

Additionally, the course is comprehensive so you will not need to purchase anything additional. We provide all course materials, the hands-on trainer kit, and the NABCEP PV Entry Level Exam itself.

If I started a company to sale and install systems would all of the installers be required to pass certification? Could you make any recommendations for me to further study the feasability of starting a Solar Energy company? I appriciate any information you could provide.

I only want the training I would need to build my own system on land we bought. Would this give me the information I would need to put together a system to support my project and train me to maintaine and upgrade it as needed?

Building My Own System

    Hello Joe,

Everblue only offers realistic and practical training. While we cannot teach all of the general background skills (contractor, electrical, etc) that are associated with an installation, you will graduate from the class knowing enough to be able to know how to put together a system.

    Thank you,
    Bana

  • Submitted by Bana@Everblue on Wed, 08/17/2011 - 13:30.
Hello and thank you for your question,

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act has helped build awareness and education about the clean energy and energy efficiency industries. At Everblue, we have assisted other programs with the implementation of their ARRA funding. However, as a company, we have had very little direct involvement with ARRA.

    Thank you,

Our services are focused on offering our students quality education, so while we will be able to offer suggestions on job searching, we do not offer a service for it at this time. I would suggest contacting your local one-stop center for assitance on this.
